The Harrow Road Neighbourhood Partnership is one of the newest of the five Local Area Renewal Partnerships (LARPS) based in deprived areas of Westminster.
It is unique in being run by the predominant housing providers in the ward: Genesis Housing Group, Walterton and Elgin Community Homes, Octavia Housing, Stadium Housing and CityWest Homes. In addition to housing providers the Harrow Road Neighbourhood Partnership interim board consists of; Ward Councillors, the Harrow Road Traders Association, the Primary Care Trust (PCT), representatives from relevant departments of Westminster City Council (WCC), the Metropolitan Police, the Paddington Development Trust, and voluntary and community groups. The Partnership is currently looking at engaging residents on a street by street basis.
One of the partnership's main focal points for regeneration and renewal is the Prince of Wales junction. The partnership is also working with a number of partners in community protection, Westminster City Council planning and transportation departments, the Metropolitan Police Service and the PCT to develop short, medium and long-term solutions to the area.
