The aim of the Health and Wellbeing Network is to provide strategic leadership for the joint commissioning of health and social care services in Westminster.
The Health and Wellbeing Board provides strategic direction for partnership service commissioning and leads on high-level endorsement and monitoring of partnership strategies, including the Health & Wellbeing Network’s contribution to the delivery of the City Plan.

The Partnership Board is supported by two business groups, details of which are as follows:
Health and Care Partnership Group
The role of the Health and Care Partnership Group is:
· to guide the commissioning and delivery of health and care services in Westminster
· to act as a forum for commissioners and providers of health and care services to discuss and advise on health and care policy
· to oversee the performance of the joint health partnership groups in relation to health and care
· to address inequalities in access to health and care
Promoting Health and Wellbeing Partnership Group
The role of the Promoting Health and Wellbeing Partnership Group is:
· to guide the implementation of programmes to promote health and wellbeing in Westminster (including oversight of the Be Healthy programme for children and young people)
· to oversee the programme to address the determinants of health inequalities in the City
· to oversee the performance of the joint health partnership groups in relation to the promotion of health and wellbeing
The two groups meet concurrently with a shared business agenda, covering areas of joint interest such as the Local Area Agreement and the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment.
